If I were a werewolf I would have recieved a torrible shock. When I woke up, I first looked at the clock, and it was just after seven. (If school started an hour later I could be perfect.) The sun wasn't up yet, but it was close enough that my room was filled with blue-white light.

I lay in bed for another moment, then I sat up and opened my eyes. This put me facing the window, which was filled with sky the same color as 'periwinkle' crayola crayons. And in that sky was the moon, and it was totally unexpected. It hit me, it struck me, it was a silver bullet and if I were a were-anything I would not be here now, writing this.

But it is closer to eight o'clock now, Suzanne Vega is thinking they know she's looking at them, my room is rather brighter and outside of the covers it feels rather chilly. I rather wish I had some money, but I sent all I had off, for good causes. Well, I do have some money, but that's all in my college account and will stay there till I go to college, which is another two and a half years away. I suppose I am quite destitute -- no money, no job, no car, no liscense, not even a high school diploma!

It would be nice if people met me and said "Your name is Bonnie? That's such a pretty name! Could I write you a check for $100, or would you like $200?"

It's getting pretty light. I should check out the other window, see how the sun is doing on getting up.

Ah, it's no better than me! There's some very faint orange haze in a paler orange bit of sky over some mountain -- which might be the Caribou Hills, but I don't know for sure -- and no sign of Senor Sol.

Guess I'll just lay in bed and listen to Sebastian (yes, of Disney's Little Mermaid. 'He' released several albums of Caribbean music.) He says "don't worry about a ting, because every little ting is gonna be all right."

Whoa! Methinks Sol woke up, my wall just turned warm yellow!

Yeah, mon, it's all awake now. Except for the rest of my family... Guess I'll go take a shower.
