Dream

Was at a house that I knew my family had looked at, re buying it. Someone else had bought it, and they were having some sort of dinner party, ecept they were moving and had everything in boxes. Then some inspection guy came, and was asking questions and he asked who I was and I said "I'm an exchange student" and the mother person nodded and then someone (maybe me) said how I would be moving in in August or July and the mother said that was an odd month, so I could sit at 3, 5 or 7 (places at the dinner party). I guess my brother-person had the even places.

Then it was different. I went downstairs and things were in boxes and I was wearing my black overalls and there were two girls, one my age and one younger and we were going to help move boxes but we went outside and it was late spring and we were in the parking lot at some mall. We were looking for a specific store, maybe, but we didn't find it, though we passed a little store which had a sign in Russian, a verb I think, with 'err's in it, and I was saying the word on the sign, but the two girls kept going and we were down by this lake, and the one girl was saying something about parasites and them going in through your skin, which they had apparently learned from Mr. Zorbas who was their 'Sanitation' teacher. I went down to the shore of the lake, and to the water, but it was silty and grey, and the bank I was standing, though thoroughly infiltrated with roots, began to give way and the girls -- who had been sticking their faces in the mud and old leaves because they said it would give them nutrients (maybe they were plants?) -- said they would show me where the real beach was. We went across this really slimy place. It had about an inch of water running over it, and a ton of algae as well as some small streams.

Finally we got to a nice beach, not sandy-sandy, but small rocks. A gravel beach, well set up and easy to walk on. There were some other people there, and a big cliff of red rock. We walked a long the cliff, and among the gravel dunes (not very big dunes) and saw a big sea lion thingy asleep out on the water, so we yelled and woke it up. It yawned and stretched (on top of the water, like it was solid) and looked like a big doggy. We also saw some sort of bird swimming along.

Then one of the girls said she'd show me some real beach fun, or something like that, and we went over to the cliff and it had tiles on it, about 7 inches square and an inch thick (18 cm square and 3 cm thick) and they were used to form stairs and ledges and all sorts of things. So I was going along this tile path on the cliff, racing this girl and we came to the last part. All along it never went above about 10 feet off the ground, now stairs have taken us up 5 feet and a further 10 feet away is another ledge, which we are to climb up to. It is a straight, smooth, vertical cliff though, with the tiles set in neat rows, with about two inches (5 cm) in between them. So I was like "No way. We haven't got ropes or anything." so we stopped there and were walking back the to the algae place to home when we saw these guys. One of them was on the 15 feet ledge (which ran from end to end of the cliff course) and the other was down on the gravel watching him. The guy on the ledge was practicing some weird modern dance, which I'm sure he probably thought made him look sexy. I think it was one of the guys from my swim class. Then Mr. Holt, the swimming assisstant teacher guy, came in and it was now Jayson Bedunnah, for sure, on the wall, and he was saying how he was going to do some flip or something, and he'd done it before. I think Mr Holt was telling him to get off the ledge, but my alarm went off.
