Alien engine system comparable to warp or slipstream drive. Co-axial drive uses a space-folding core to travel on subspace streams, but not in subspace. It uses a co-axial induction feild to make the transition between normal space and subspace streams. It is a very unstable drive because of the eratic use of subspace. Co-axial drive can be intergrated into very small ships, but only for a short time before it fails.
