The Fateful Night~

It was a fateful night on the Titanic
Death sounds filled the air..
Water from the ocean was rushing
Debris floating everywhere

The ship was doomed from the beginning
With gashes slit down her side..
Icebergs had torn through her steel frame
Women and children cried...

Oh!..What a night to remember
Wails echoing with a death chant melody
Life boats filling haphazardly
The band playin "Nearer my God To Thee"

As I sat and I watched the mighty vessel go down
Waters swallowing what was left of the Titanic
I will never forget the horror that night
On the ocean we call the Atlantic...
