I'd like to take the time to say
"Hello, how do you do?"
But I am way too busy now
To say hello to you

I would like to take the time
To smell a rose or two
But my time is always taken
With something else to do

I am way too busy
To take the time to breathe
Even if I thought about it
I'm not sure there is a need

I am always working
Sometimes well into the night
I don't even have the time
To have a social life

I guess that what I'm getting at
Is I just need some time
If only for a minute
So I could just unwind
