Hey! It's been awhile since I've written in here...like a week and a half or so...I don't remember exactly. I'm back at work now. I have only worked two days since I've gotten back though. I'm a fill-in so I don't have to work that often. And most of the time when I'm working it's with the babies. And call me crazy but I love it. I think bbies are the cutest sweetest things on Earth. Of course I haven't been at work in 5 days. I probably wouldn't say the same thing if I had just gotten home. Having 12 babies crying at one point is pretty awful, but there are atleast 4 people in there at all times. So that's my main way of making money for all the trips I've been on and am going on. Our youth group has also started Summertime Wednesday Night Bible Study..so that's where I'll be on Wednesday nights unless I'm out of town. I'm excited. We had them last year and the same guy who did them last year will be doing it. Brian is a cool guy. I'm also at all my friends houses non-stop. And if I'm not there they are over here. This is the first day I've had the house to myself since a week ago. I hoep you guys had a great 4th of July. Mine was pretty cool. We went out to my Aunt and Uncle's lakehouse. Our family always celebrates big holidays together. Whether it's a birthday or Labor day or Mother's day. The only days I don't ever remember celebrating with them are Halloween and Valentine's Day. And this year it will be cut back to jsut Valentine's Day cuz my step-cousin is getting married the day before Halloween in Florida and we are going to be around each other on Halloween. I was talking to someone though about what I was doing for the 4th and I told them ya know I was going to do this thing with my family. And of course I expected them to be like yeah me and my family are doing such and such. It turned out that they were going to a friends house to celebrate without their family. It just has never occured to me that families don't celebrate holidays. And I thought it was totally weird. I'm not trying to put down any families who don't and I'm sorry if you got offended by it(you know who you are ;)) but I just thought it was the strangest thing. I bet people who live that way think it is the strangest thing to celebrate holidays with your ENTIRE family. Monday I went to my Aunt and Uncle's ( yes the same ones) house and went swimming in their pool and went out to eat for my grandfather's birthday. And again most of the family was there. Not everyone though because they were in Hot Springs doing stuff with their other family, I imagine. I really didn't know why they weren't there. Maybe our family is weird, but it's normal to the people have grown up with it happening this way. I hope everyone is having a great summer and enjoying not having to go to school. So I'll get back to this sometime or another. Alice
