December 27, 1998 Parties, Movies, and EMB

Why do parents never think about things til after you have done it? I mean I LOVE my parents but sometimes I wonder about them. Like for example, I moved into my new room in August. And now I'm going to paint. I knew I was going to paint before my brother even moved out! They said it'd be easier if I went ahead and moved into my room. Now I get to moved all my heavy furniture away from the walls so we can paint. Grrr... I just worked 1 hour cleaning up my room so we can start stripping the ougly wall-paper off the walls. My room needs it and it'll probably take me another hour to make it look presentable again. I don't mind having a sloppy room even though my parents can't stand it. When my room is clean, it's harder to find the stuff I need yet it's easier to lose stuff. Who knows? Well, If you truly know me you know how much I absolutely LOVE the Edwin McCain Band(EMB)! Well if you don't now you do. I am a HUGE fan. Sorry that was an inside joke that couldn't be left unsaid. Okay so anyways, I had turned on one of the half dozen radio stations I listen to to find Rick Dees was doing his Top 98 of 1998. And you are wondering what in the heck this has to do with EMB..well EMB came on with their gorgeous song "I'll Be" that should get the Grammy for Song of the Year...sorry I'm again getting off the subject. We'll his song was number 18!! Everybody gasp and aww at his amazing talent. Hahaha! Now I have something to hang of Andrew's face! It's higher on the list than Third Eye Blind not that I don't like the band..I spent 60 freakin dollars on tickets to that freakin concert of course I love that group...but Andrew is a jerk and calls "I'll Be" gay...Ugh! He had so much potential til he called it gay.....poor guy he doesn't know what in the world he is missing! If anyone is sick of parties, it's gotta be me. I went to my mom's group high-school reunion Christmas party tonight hoping that Sarah from school would be there. Of course her parents didn't even come but i had fun watching the pool lights...It was at my aunt's house(refer to 12/26). I have seen more movies in the past three days that i have in three months. It's rather strange. I went to Stepmom on Christmas, and then today I went with my lil sis to see "I'll Be Home for Christmas". I guess it was okay..It was kinda funny and stupid and sweet. It was kinda late to be watching that kinda movie since Christmas was over like 2 days ago. It was a cute movie that my mom will probably buy with in the next year and I will grow sick of it fast. 39 weeks! Woah!! I can't believe it! 39 nine weeks! It's the longest concesuctive song played on Rick Dees! That means it had a longer run that "My heart will go on" Wowzers!!! Yeah the band should be happy!!
