" We can't find them....."

"How in the world could we have lost all of them!"

"Well, let's see.... Macavity could have kidnapped them all, but since Bomb's with them I

doubt he'd do much... Humans could have captured them to be as pets... They might be strolling through the town... They could have been abducted by aliens, not too likely but you can't ever tell..." Alonzo stopped for a second and tried to think up some more reasons.

"You are NOT helping." Misto gave him a glare.

"Well, Munkustrap asked a question........."

"Just drop it."

"Whot if we con't foind them?" Mungojerrie looked upset.

"We keep looking."

"Maybe the dears are just hiding......" Jenny fidgeted nervously.

"We've been calling them for an hours. The would have heard by now...."

"I can't even sense Tantomile........."

"You can't?"

"No......"

"What does that mean?"

"Never had it happen before. Don't know...."

"Jeez........."

"Why did it have to be the queens that disappeared? Why not the guys?"

"Shut up, Tugger."

"I was just saying..."

"Drop it will you."

"Fine!"

"Are you sure they aren't playing a hiding game?"

"Bomb? Not likely."

"Where could they be?"

"Well, let's see........."

"We will NOT start that again!"

"Who made you boss?"

"Me."

"Okay then, your highness."

"Will you cut it out?"

"If everyone could please be quiet....."

"Shhhhh........I was saying, Tugger......"

"Could I have everyone's attention......."

"Shhh....Listen up, Plato......"

"Attention?!"

"Jenny, they are not hiding.........."

"COULD EVERYONE PLEASE LOOK AT ME FOR A SECOND HERE! THANK

YOU!" Admetus waved a piece of paper in his hand. "I found this note left by Bomba.

'All, gone to stores. Big surprise. Taken Vicki and Mima. BBS.' "

" 'BBS?' "

"Be back soon."

"Well, I guess we just wait now...."

"Yeah...."

"I sense Tant again!"

"What? Where are they?"

"Close by. They must have had some secret, to block me."

"Yeah."

"Why would they have needed Victoria and Jemima?"

"Yeah, I can see Bomba, Demi, Teazer, and even Tant going to have a good ol time, but

bringing two kits?"

"They were feeling motherly......?"

Everyone looked at Jellylorum. "BOMBA?"

"Well, some queens mature faster than others."

"Yeah, well.........."

"Hey, I hear something.........."

"I see something........"

"It's.....It's........It's........."

"Our worst nightmare......?"

"Worse."

"The Spice Queens!!!!!!" Bomba(or the cat that they thought was her) Walked

from behind the old tire first. She had dyed her fur all bright red, there was no black left,

and she was wearing a mini-dress in the pattern of the English Flag. She wore super-high red platform boots.

Bomba looked out at her stunned audience. " I'm Nutmeg Spice! Queen Power!"

Next, from behind the tire, came Victoria (recognizable by her white fur), in

a white, strapless mini-dress and white spike heels. The fur on her head was

apparently shaped to her head with a large quantity of gel. "I'm Snobby Spice. I am so

much better than you." She moved over to stand by 'Nutmeg'.

Right after "Snobby" had gone to stand by 'Nutmeg' a new queen had come out from

behind the tire. She was, oddly enough, striped, but she was wearing a leopard print halter

with matching pants and platforms. The whole effect was so dizzying that no one could

identify the queen. Except one person.

"Demeter?" Munkustrap asked with a dropped jaw.

"I'm Paranoid Spice. Where's my bodyguard?" 'Paranoid' went to hid behind 'Nutmeg.' The last of the Spice Queens came out.

She was a calico, but most of her black spots had been dyed blond, so she seemed almost

striped. She wore a mini-dress in hot pink and pink platform sandals. Her head fur was all

dyed blond and pulled back into two little ponytails.

"What did you do to Jemima!!??"

"I'm Kitty Spice. I can sing so much higher than you can and you are twice my age. Ha!"

"What did you do to her?!"

"They are the Spice Queens! Formed to promote queen-power and create really rad dance

mixes!" The Two queens who were yelling came out from behind the tire. They were

dressed identical, both wore black mini-dresses and had fluffed out head fur. They both

wobbled on high platform boots.

"Teazer?" Mungojerrie asked. At the same time, Coricopat asked a similar question. "Tant?"

"WE are the Spice Queen Backup singers."

Tugger elbowed Munkustrap. "For an all queen band to need backup, they must be pretty bad."

"Shut up."

"Well........"

"I see your point, but drop it anyway."

"Well, at last someone sees my point!"

"Drop it, will you."

"Okay."

"What do you think?" Tantomile asked Coricopat.

"Well.......we've always done everything together....."

"And so............." She trust a big box in his hands. "Open!"

Coricopat took the box. He opened it to find.........black leather pants and a vest. "What is this for?"

"You're another backup!"

Cori looked at the outfit. "Cool."

"Hey! Whoohoo! Spice Queens?" Nutmeg was trying to get everyone's attention. "We need to start practicing."

"Can we get a bodyguard first?" Paranoid looked out from the box she was hiding in.

The was a silence. "Umm........I'll be the bodyguard."

"Munkustrap?"

"Well, I am protector of all the cats. Even the... er....'Spice Queens'"

"Why are there guys in our group? We are so much better than them!"

"Shut up Vicki."

"You first, 'Kitty'"

"All right, 'Snobby'"

"Oh boy.........." Rumpleteazer shook her head." We shoulda picked Etcetera instead of Vicki."

"Like she's so much better than me?"

"She is." 'Nutmeg' said under her breath.

'Snobby' looked at her spitefully. "I heard that."

"Hey! All right then.....Spice Queens! Get over here! That means you too." 'Nutmeg said

to Munkustrap.

"I cannot believe I'm doing this." Munkustrap waved a 'bye' to the rest of the tribe and followed the mini-procession, which was lead by 'Nutmeg'.

"Next stop....." 'Nutmeg' yelled "HOLLYWOOD!"

And so, the Spice queens went on to become a famous group and were adored by legions of adoring fans. Munkustrap was the bodyguard all during the tour and enjoyed it so much, he became the fourth backup singer. Three of the queens' albums went Tin and one even went Copper. It seemed the group would last forever. And it did......until 'Nutmeg' left the

band... except, that's another story. Or maybe a sequel.........;)
