Yes, I do have a few guidelines to when I put fics up. Read 'em (and weep.) If you don't like them, build your own site.
If you want to send a file to me, you can:
Copy and paste it into an email. (I don't really like this because it taste forever to HTML it)
Send it as an attachment: I'll accept .doc and .txt and .html
Send me the web adress of where else it's posted. (I also dislike thsi because of the banners take time to get off)
Also, I have reason that I will NOt post a fic:
If it is so gross that I don't want to even think about it cuz it's no nasty. (Too many sex scene,s blood and guts, etc. I'm usually lax but I draw the rather fuzzy line somewhere...)
If you ripped the entire plot off of another fanfic.
If it's someone else's work!
If it is so bad... I mean boring and just so bad. (That has never happened yet.)
You don't give the title of the fic or your name!
But these have rarely happened. So have the following in your email to me:
Your fic (pasted, linked or attached, whatever)
YOU NAME (You'd be amazd at how many people don't send their name)
Your email. (Optional- I just like to have that, just in case)
Your compliments and praises about my site (Ok, not really but I didn't want to pass up a chance for promotion)
