Empire Records is like the best movie I've ever seen in my life (probably). If you haven't seen it yet I suggest you do. It's about a record store called Empire Records (duh), that got robbed by one of it's workers Lucas, but Lucas was only trying to save the place, in which he doesn't succeed because he loses all the money ($9104) in Atlantic City. But of course everything ends up all right and you can watch it for yourself to find out exactly what happens. There are some really good actors in this movie. I'll tell you the main characters, Ethan Embry plays Mark one of the workers who seems to always be high, he's one of my favorites, Liv Tyler plays corey the really smart speed freak, worker there who wants to lose her virginity to Rex Manning, Robin Tunney plays Debra the worker who shaves her head and tries to kill herself with a pink lady bic, Johnney Whitworth plays AJ the worker who's hopelessly in love with Corey, Brendan Sexton the third plays the kid who's name isn't Warren who just wants to work in a record store, Renee Zellweger plays Gina the turbo slut worker who really wants to sing but is too afraid, Rory Cochrane plays Lucas the one who decides boldly to try to "save the empire," Coyote Shivers plays Burko Debra's ex boyfriend and he also sings one of my fave song on the soundtrack sugar high, James "Kimo" Wills plays one of the workers there and he provides Mark's "sugar", Maxwell Caulfield plays Rex Manning there isn't much to say about him except maybe he's a jack ass, Debi Mazar plays Jane the lady who worked for Rex but smartened up and quit and she also falls for Joe, and last but definetly not least Anthony LaPaglia plays Joe the manager of The Empire. I guess I basically gave you all the character but who cares.
