Samuel Blair was the first Standard Oil Agent in Paris, AR. He drove trucks for 23 years, hauling coal, building stone, ice, and even apples until 1930.
Henry Wilson Sanders was a scrap dealer most of his life. He bought scrap metal from farmers, loaded it on his wagon pulled by two mules. Henry and his five brothers were from Clarksdale, Coahoma Co., MS. John Sanders was a plantation owner and Meade Sanders was a Baptist preacher. Thomas Sanders was from Magazine. One brother is identified as Charlie Sanders. Henry's father was Jonathan Sanders. Henry's mother was Julia Jane Davis. Martha Jane Davis parents were Peter J. Davis and Mahalia Stafford
