Ray Reames, 65, of Tucson, Arizona died June 9th, services held Friday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Johnson Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home of Paris. Mr. Reames was a transit worker. A son, Steve Reames, who died in a construction accident in the 1950's preceded him in death; one brother, survived by Roy L. Roy Lee Reames, 85, of Paris, died Monday, April 10, 1995 in Paris. In 1956, Roy was a construction worker at Doyle & Everett Berry Bros. General Contractors in Berwick, LA. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Sat., April 15 at Roller Chapel in Paris with the Rev. Bobby Featherston and Mr. Doyle Berry officiating. Burial followed at Johnson Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Survivors include his wife, Elda Reames of Burwick, LA: one son, Jerry Reames and two daughters, Rena Mae Reames & Mary Ann Reames. Pallbearers were Doyle Berry, Adolph Forst, Ben Rice, Oreen Johson, Marion Humphrey and Art Kirk. Honorary pallbearers were John Bowerman, Buddy Sullivan and Ralph Young.
