Dennison J. Redden was a teacher and farmer in Paris, Arkansas. Educated at Arkansas Industrial University, Fayettevville, Washington Co., AR. He owned 120 acres and built a house and additional farm buildings on his property in and around 1885. He grew apples, peaches, plums and cherry trees, with cotton, corn, and oats. Minnie was a member of the Baptist Church. D. J. was Republican in his political views and a pro for public improvements to the community, and willing to contribute to the area charities.
Minnie Maberry's Father: Charles Maberry b. 1820 d. 1883 Mother: Ellen B. Thompson b. 1822 d. 1890, both natives of the "Old dominion". They emigrated to Missouri, and then to Arkansas in 1858. Charles and Ellen were members of the Baptist Church
The Paris Express, dated 13 May 1915, "Miss Dennie Redding, has been away for two years in Bigelow, at school and employed as a saleslady in a mercantile establishment there".
