The Herald Democrat, dated 2 Feb 1938, "Funeral service for "Buck" Lee who died Monday at age 82, after being ill for weeks, was held at home north of Clarksville. Rev. Wendell Pyles from the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial: Lee Cemetery, Clarksville. Pallbearers: J. T. White, Richard Davis, Jim Dunlap, Ed Haigwood, Gorman B. King & Wilson Sharyer. He was born in the historical house his grandfather, Cader Lee built & only 1/2 mile from home he died. Five children, great grandchild & one g-grandson".


The Herald Democrat, dated Thursday, 22 Apr 1943, Richard Oliver Brinks, 88, died Wednesday 11:45PM at home in North Clarksville. He was born 9 May 1854, Eufaula, AL. Parents: J. L. Brinks came to Clarksville 1879. He was active in building the Methodist Church and a member over 70 years. Wife: Mrs. Josie Lee Brinks. Sons: John & Hugh, at home, O. D., L. R., & Walter F. Brinks (1885-1984 Dothan, AL) from Washington, DC. Marvin Brinks from McClarey, WA. Guy C. Ames officiating the funeral. Burial: Lee Cemetery, Clarksville, Johnson County. Pallbearers: Richard Davis, Roger Bost, Robert Stumbaugh, Fred Eustice, Tolly Williams & Carter Young".


Lee Cemetery is on the original Lee land on a hill across from the College of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR. Jamestown is near the Arkansas River off I-40 & Rogers.
