Bennett Franklin Lee's family history notes
Bennett was the oldest child of Albert Pike Lee, who had the misfortune of an amputation below the knee when he was a young boy due to accident involving a horse. He developed gas gangrene and had further amputation of the remaining limb to his hip. Bennett had his limb buried beside his plot and would lay fennel weed over the area where his leg was buried upon decoration day visits to the cemetary according to family oral history. He lived many years on his farm in Greasy Valley where he was born and raised.
Martha Pearl Parham second marriage/child: Billy Don Jones, and after his mother's death, the child was adopted out to family in Texas.
Ben Franklin Lee and Ocie Dell had no children.
**Note when Arlie died and when Ocie died. Now everything I found says Arlie married Frances, does not add up yet at Frances Ketron's gravesite provides information supporting Arlie & her life together, interesing. Arlie Pike and Frances Ketron had one child known, Elizabeth A. Lee.
