Barney H Lee Sr., 61, a longtime city resident, died just before noon Thursday in St. Anthony Hospital, where he had been a patient for about 10 days. Mr. Lee was born May 9, 1904, in Logan County, Arkansas. He had lived in this city since 1934 and had been for about 15 years a Rock Island Railway employee. He retired in July, 1964 because of ill health. Survivors include seven sons, Barney H Jr., Charles R., Carl D., Harold, James E., Larry L., and Robert E., all of Dodge City; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard king of Dodge City, Mrs. Robert Whisler of Wakeeney and Miss Sharon K. Lee of Bucklin; his mother Mrs. Sarah B. Lee of Alhambra, California; two brothers Everett of Alhambra California and Orval of Buffalo, Wyoming; and 13 grandchildren. The funeral has been set for 2 pm Monday in the Barber Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. william H Travis officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
