The Paris Express, dated 31 Mar 1932, "John Henry Mosley", 77, died at his home on East Main Street Monday following an illness of several months. He was born in Georgia on 27 Mar 1855 and to AR at age 16. He married Miss Elizabeth Moore on 19 Dec 1878. He was connected with the Smith Trading Company. Survivors: wife, Daughters: Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Jim Collins, Paris. Son: Martin Mosley, Paris, Brothers: Ed & William Mosley, Scranton. Sisters: Mrs. B. Copeland, Mrs. John Corley & Mrs. John Johnson, all of Paris. Funeral service was held at his daughters residence, Mrs. Rufus Smith. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers: Claud Thompson, Robert Johnson, Ben Ihle, Harry Arnold, John Shaffer & Earl Johnson."
