The prototype for this pendant ,whis dates from around the 1000 A.D.,was found at Lautamaki in Teuva. The original easternins pired model resembles the twined bronze filament jewelry typical of the Finno-Ugric tribes that had lived in the river valleys of Russian several centuries earlier . The tringular pendant is ornamented with tingling permian charms which were thought to drive away ewil spirits. Photo
