A Dam In Laos Burst Causing Severe Flash Flooding
Luckily people moved to higher ground and there are no reports of injuries or deaths.
An under construction Nam Ao Hydropower Project in Phaxay district, Xieng Khuang Province of Laos burst on September 11, 2017, causing severe flash flooding.
According to KPL, Lao News Agency, many farmlands of people in Thathom district, Xaysomboun Province have been flooded following the bust of the dam. However, people have moved to higher ground and there are no reports of injuries or deaths.
