Poems

I wrote these poems for an english class and I thought that I would post them on the internet for a short while. Better get a tissue for the first one :(
How long will he wait...
A dog sits waiting in the cold autumn sun
to faithful to leave, to frieghtened to run
He's been here for days now with nothing to do
but to sit by the road and wait for you.
He can't understand why you left him that day
He thought you and he were stopping to play
He's sure you'll come back
you gave him a name...it was jack.
His legs have grown weak
with no energy to seek
for his best friend
this man has sinned.
He's sick now form hunger
How long he'll last I wonder
He lays his head down and close's his eyes
I wish you could see a waiting dog die.

My days...
I woke up this morning, with a yearn to cry
Didn't tell anyone for they'd want to know why
Got dressed this morning, put on all black
Didn't wear any make up where's the point in that
For make up only covers the blemishes you don't watn others to see
It can't get rid of the ones that only you see.
Went to school this morning, with a smile on my face
In the crowded hallway I felt so out of place
Wanted to tell someone I wanted to die
But thought they'd just laugh and say I have no reason to cry
For they see me as I want them too
Fun, caring, no worries, or important things to do.
But they can't hear the screaming or see the torture inside
They never ask they have their own lives
But that doesn't stop them from leaning on me
Being their crutch but who in the hell supports me
That's not important I've started to say
When I wake up on one of these days.
