1 cup Crisco shortening (the solid kind in the can) Using an electric mixer, cream together the Crisco and eggs until smooth. Add sugar and 1 cup of the flour mixture and beat for about 1 minute. Add the rest of the flour and milk. Mix. Finally, ad the flavoring and mix through lightly. Pour into a bundt pan that has been greased and floured (Memaw uses "Baker's Joy" spray that has grease and flour already mixed together - works great! I've used it too). Bake at 325 for about 1 hour, then turn oven up to 350 for 5 min. Watch at around 45 minutes to make sure it's not getting too brown. If it is, then go ahead and turn up the oven right then for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
2 cups sugar

Sift together 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour with ½ cup self rising flour for a total of 3 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla OR ½ teaspoon vanilla and ½ teaspoon lemon flavoring
