WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Capitals left wing Chris Simon will have surgery next week on his dislocated right shoulder that could keep him out of action for six months, Bloomberg News reported Saturday. Simon, 26, injured the shoulder in Washington's 2-1 loss against Philadelphia on Dec. 5 and hasn't played since. He missed four months last season with a similar injury. In 23 games this season, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Simon has three goals, seven assists and 48 penalty minutes.
