Wonderful Things
As a shadow drifts into my dark,cool roomI begin to dream
Dream about the things in live that people take for granted.
As the sunrise shimmers and brightens the sky
with
wonderful
colors
How a breeze blows through the trees making them sway back and forth,
and the wind brushing againct your face filling you with happiness
How when a bird sings on a summers day and you close your eyes and listen
a soft melody that you've never heard before and may never hear again.
When the moon's shimmering glow reflects off the snow on a cold winters night,
you gaze out at the horizon and it seems endless.
These are the things most people take forgranted everyday,
they don't think to stop, look,open their eyes and listen with an open mind.
If only they would, they could enjoy life and all it has to offer..
