Braised Beef

Ingredients:
500g beef shank (cubed)
1 stalked spring onion (cut into 3cm length)
2 inch ginger (sliced)
2 cloves garlic
1 star anise
soya sauce
oil
sugar

Method:
1. Heat oil, fry garlic, ginger, beef and spring onion for 5 mins.
2. Add some water, let it simmer.
3. Add soya sauce, sugar, star anise
4. Cook till tender.
5. Ready to be served.
