I absolutely love filter ( for those who don't know them, they sound soimilar to NIN, but if you know nin you'd know filter anyway). The lead singer, Richard Patrick, features in the NIN video for "gave up" with Trent and Marilyn Manson ( which you can only see on The "Closure" video, as the song was never even released.) He is also on the NIN clip for "wish", way back when he played guitar for Tren't band...

I would consider silverchair as my equal favourite band (a title shared with NIN, of course), because Daniel Johns is a fucking musical genius..(as I said also with Trent). Anyone who can come up with song after fucking excellent song, preform amazing live shows, write a song to fit my every mood ( and I have heaps of them), and write in such a deep and meaningful way that I know exactly what they mean is definitely a musical genius in my mind..(have you seen him play guitar??? Oh and neon ballroom, the newest album, was mainly his output)

Placebo are an excellent british band who have toured here a few times ( unfortunately I missed every show, half of them because I'm under 18) but I'm hoping they come out again next february (my birthday!!) so I'll be old enough to see their shows. I have seen them play live on video, and they retained the same great quality musicianship as they do on their EPs. Make sure you check out Brick Shithouse, My Placebo page in The Labrynth..
