Plenty of cheats in Ascension. To enable them, open the default.kmp file with notepad in your Ultima IX directory. If you have a uninstall program like Norton Uninstall running, the file will also appear in the Norton directory. Ignore that one. Near the bottom is a section called cheats. Enter the command line into this section. Pick a key or key sequence that the game isn't already using. For example:
Mana recharge: ctrl+r = recharge_mana
If you enter a key or key sequence that the game is already using, the cheat won't work. The cheats to make yourself a god, self-explanatory IMO:

Beware of these. They give you the respective spells, but when invoked, they take away all your armor and items; including gold and arrows. You'll be left with the Avatar armor that you start with. You'll also get all of the sigils, the orb of the moons and a bread.
