Radiolarian ooze
| The silicon bearing tests of radiolarians also form pure "strews",
particularly at great depths (greater than 4000 meters) in the oceans.
This slide shows the variety of test types that can be found in the sediment.
Notice that not all radiolarians are spherically symmetrical.
