We have the type of family that is very close. Each one would do almost anything for one of the others.
Mom was into birds big time! She had owned 5 conures, one African Grey, 4 Quakers and a BUNCH of cockateils! She later owned 2 Quakers, the aftrican Grey and a Cockatoo. She also had a Great Dane puppy. She had always wanted another Great Dane since she had to sell the one she had in St. Louis. I guess that's what happens when you have a BIG dog a little car and a 300 and something mile move ahead of you!
Dad was the roots of the family. If any one of us was having trouble with anything, you could find Dad up at all hours of the night trying to figure a way out. He was also rated one of Missouri's top 4 mechanics before he retired. He still would fix the familys' cars when they would breakdown. Dad was into little dogs mostly, he had around 10 peekapoos but also had two Great Pyranese.
My older sister, the eldest, has had it tough for awhile. Her boyfriend, the father of her two girls, just up and left!! So she decided to go to school and became a CNA then a CMT. She owns a variety of dogs, a fainting goat, two horses, a few chickens and a few cats; along with the cockatiels she already had and the African Grey she inherited when Mom passed away. Now she works at a kennel and raises dogs herself.
My brother, also older than me, has also had a rough time of things. He got married quite a few years ago and it just didn't last very long. There was a nasty divorce and custody battle for his young son. He and his ex- finally got some resemblance of an agreement worked out on that matter though. Not necessarily to my brothers liking though. My brother loves his son very much I have to say that. My brother has always been there for me. He and I were very close when I was growing up. I have always looked up to him. :) My brother is mostly into wolves and his son.
My younger sis was in the Air Force but when she got pregnant she decided to leave. She stayed in until about 3 weeks before her due date! She now has a beautiful little girl named Alyssa. She is not all that little anymore though, she is four now!*G* She also has a rough and tumble little boy named DJ who is 2 now.*G* Her and her husband live just too far away from me if you ask me. All my family live to far away from me to suit me. :( My younger sis and I are pretty darn close. Which is surprising cause when we were younger I did everything possible to KEEP from being around her. LOL Oh well, time heals everything.:)Aslo, I am seven years older than her and my life was really progressing when hers was really just beginning. So I wasn't there for alot of it.:(
Sorry there are no pictures on this page, no one was brave enough.

I put pegasus here not only because I am an admirer of them but because I think they also represent purity. If you have ever watched the movie LEGEND then you know what I mean. Even if those were unicorns. LOL
