Hi there. I used to be a senior at Bronson Jr./Sr. High School in Bronson, MI. That was before I graduated. After graduation, I attended Cornerstone university in Grand Rapids, MI for one year, and now I am working, trying to earn as much money as I can so that I can decide what to do with my currently halted life. Yep, that's right, I'm a loser! Okay, seriously, folks.....I need money. ANYWAY, I'm also taking a few classes at Kellogg Community College in Coldwater so I won't be THAT far behind when I finally realize what I wanna do for a living. Sometimes I just pray that God would show me RIGHT NOW what he wants me to do, but then I have to remind myself that He's in control, and His timing is PERFECT. So it's all good!
I enjoy playing basketball (a lot) and listening to music
(Christian hard rock, rock, alternative,...and no country or boy band crap. Just visit my christian bands page for more info.). I also like to write music and poetry every once in a while. I just recently started writing poetry, but I've been into writing lyrics for a long time. I don't mean to sound big-headed, but I think that some of my stuff is pretty darn good. I am in a band now (
VISIT THE BAND PAGE!
), so I have kind of given poetry a rest and have given most of that time to lyrics and music instead. Please excuse the band page....as of right now, it's incomplete. It'll get better, though, don't worry! If the link to the band page doesn't work--or if you just wanna give us a shout, which is completely fine with us--email us at
preject@hotmail.com.
I also like to play video games, but who doesn't, right? I used to own an N64, but I sold it (thank God) to Babbages (in the mall in Battle Creek, MI) and, with the store credit I got for it, I bought a Play Station because they have more games, better games and cheaper games. Go Sony! I had the Play Station for quite some time, but I recently gave it to a friend....for free.....because I bought a PS2. It's unbelievable, that's all I gotta say! But, I have recently gotten rid of that as well, and bought an electric guitar. It was well worth it, but at times I wished I still had a PS2.....especially when I saw commercials for NBA Live 2003! Since then, however, I have sold my guitar to pay a bill that I couldn't otherwise pay, and I saved up my money and bought another PS2. NBA LIVE 2004 IS AWESOME! Anyway, I'm currently looking for money to buy another guitar. I'm such a dork.
Anyway, I like to meet new people on MSN or AOL instant message services, as well as talk to--and hang out with--the friends I already have. My favorite TV shows are "The Simpsons" (I'm a HUGE Simpsons fan), "Boy Meets World," "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and "Frasier". I don't really have a favorite movie because there are too many really good ones for me to pick only one as my favorite. But as of now, my three favorite are probably John Q, Field of Dreams, and The Shawshank Redemption. (I guess I like dramas...)
I have a wonderful girlfriend who I met because she dated the foreign exchange student that was living at my house, oddly enough. Her name is Heather Snivley, and a lot of you people who know me also know her (well, you should by now, at least) cuz we've been dating since August of 2002. Heather and I couldn't stand each other when we first met, but that gradually changed as we got to know each other. Now I know the wonderful person that she is, and I love her to death!
Hmm....how about some more info? Well, I have a wide variety of CDs (all Christian), in which I take much pride. My hair color varies from blonde to brown then back to blonde. I don't think I'll ever color it...just bleaching it is enough for me. (However, I would like to dye one of my sideburns black and then bleach the other one...maybe sometime soon, maybe never....who knows.) When I bleached my hair for the first time, I had nothing but good things said to me about it. Accept, that is, for Ben Jewell (one of my friends from high school), who tried to convince everybody that I look like a Backstreet Boy--don't believe him, though, cuz he still might try to tell you that. Now my hair is back to it's natural light brown color....who knows what I'll decide to do next.
And I guess that's all I need to put on here for now, but I'll be back later to add and subtract from it....so until next time, c-ya peace!
