#1 If you do not have a copy of IRC downloaded and installed on your computer, you need to do that. I suggest that you use Polaris IRC 2.08 (Mirror 1 || Mirror 2)
#2 Go to IRCSpy.com to search for the Album/Song/Movie/Music Video/Application.
#3 Change the option circled in red, from FSERVE to XDCC. Type in what your looking for and hit search
#4 Change the option to not display offline bots so only working downloads will show up (circled in red).
#5 And I always sort them by Transfer (circled in blue) so the fastest downloads are at the top.
#6 The link you need to click to download the file is the link with a number symbol and a number (circled in red). The part circled in blue is the trigger you'll need to type in the channel to start the download. The green circle is the slots open for download. The orange tells you the upload speed of the server this file will be sent from.
#7 Once you click the link to download the file, your irc client should open automatically and this option box should pop up. Choose the top option (the one selected in the screen shot) and click Ok. Note:: If you are already connected to a server and downloading a file, and want to start a new download. You have to pick "Open new connection".
#8 Once your connected to the server, go into the channel by selecting the tab (circled in red)
#9 Once your in the channel (should look like a chatroom) you need to enter the trigger to start the download. If you clicked the link on IRCSpy to connect, all you have to do is hit Ctrl+V and it will automatically paste in for you, then hit enter.
#10 The download will either start or you will be put on queued until a download slot opens up. Once the file transfer starts you should see the tab next to channel that starts out "DCC" (circled in pic) click that tab.
#11 I dont think I need to explain this really, its the status of your download.
