Zelda 1 Review

Graphics:
For an NES title, this game was amazing. The (kinda) smooth framerate, the cool backgrounds, and the stunning dungeon layouts were the best the 8-bit wonder had ever seen. The character detail wasn't to in-depth, but for the NES, the bosses, characters and enemies were rightfully stunning. Great visuals.

Sound/Music:
Great sound effects are hard to come by in older games, but not if you look in the right places. The Legend of Zelda is a prime example of an old (but good) game with some sweet sound effects. The music is also exceptional. The classic music has inspired people and has been carried throughout the Zelda series. Excellent stuff.

Gameplay:
Extremely innovative gameplay. Thats just saying it lightly. The Legend of Zelda has brought forth many new tools in gameplay, and without them, some games may never have been developed. Very simple controls, and an easy to use interface always help out, and this game proves that fact. INSANELY Sweet Gameplay.

Replay:
This game takes a while to beat, with the assortment of items, and a rather large world to explore. Once you beat the 1st quest, there is always the second quest to beat too. This game is packed full of replay just for the fact the game itself is so fun. Very good replay.

Final Word:
You NEED this game.
