A long time ago, the land of Hyrule was in a state of chaos. A legend was being banded down from generation to generation, the legend of the triforce; golden triangles possessing mystical powers.

Then one day an evil army led by Ganon, attacked the peaceful kingdom in search of the triforce. In order to keep Ganon from the triforce, Princess Zelda broke it into 8 pieces and scattered it throughout the kingdom. She sent her most loyal nursemaid, Impa, to find a hero brave enough to defeat Ganon and hid evil army.

Once Ganon gained knowledge of this, he was furious. He put the Princess in prison, and sent his henchmen after Impa. Impa ran with all her might throughout the land in search. Ganon's men caught up with her, and she was too tired to get away. In her moment of despair, Link appeared. With great courage, he fought off the evil henchmen and saved Zelda.

Impa asked for Link's help and filled him in on the troubles of the now chaotic Hyrule. Being pure of heart, he could not bear to see trouble upon anyone or anything. In order to save the kingdom, he collect all 8 hidden pieces of the triforce, and rebuild it. In doing so, he will be powerful enough to banish Ganon and his evil army. But will he succeed?
