When Nintendo was going to produce the SNES CD-ROM, they made deals with Sony and Phillips. In the end, they went their seperate ways. Sony had Playstation, and Phillips had the CD-I. Phillips also had a deal with Nintendo that they could use their characters for their games. Thats how all these weird games came about. From what we have heard, these games are crap.
