The Firebat is a mix of both good and bad things over the Marine. The Firebat is a close range unit and cannot shoot air. However, it does have a much stronger weapon than the Marine, and it has more armor. The Firebat is good if escorted by some unit that can shoot air really well. That way you can attack the ground with the Firebat and the air with the other unit. Firebat like the Marine has the option of Stim Pack which makes the unit that uses it go and shoot faster but it takes away ten life. The Firebat is a good ground to ground unit but a unit that you should never put in bunkers because any ranged units would kill it.
