THIS IS THE MUTHAFUKIN DIY GUIDE
- If you want to get rid of odors in your fridge or freezer, put charcoals
in it overnight just make sure there's no gas sprayed on em.
- Instead of buying higher priced dandruff shampoos that can actually strip
your hair and scalp of protective oils, add five drops of tea tree oil
(available in health food stores) to your regular shampoo, (any brand). If
you use a dandruff shampoo regularly, this will save you up to $10 a
month....
- Get a roll of paper towels. Invest a little more than you normally might
and purchase ones that are stronger and thicker, it's worth it because of
the money you will save. Bring two cups of water to a boil and add 2
tablespoons of any baby bath and two tablespoons of any baby lotion. Stir
and let cool. Place the paper towels in a tall plastic container and pour
the solution over the towels once it has cooled. Pull out a sheet anytime
you need one for babies, kids, or yourself!
- Clean a clogged drain: by pouring 1/2 cup baking soda
into the drain, followed with 1/2 cup white vinegar. This
solution will foam, don't be alarmed. Cover the drain and
leave for 30 minutes. FLush with cool water.
- If you like the convenience of fabric softener dryer sheets, but hate the
cost, try making your own easily and inexpensively. Get a large sponge and
cut it in half. In a container or bowl, combine 2-3 cups of water with one
cap of any liquid fabric softener. Keep the cut sponge in the liquid and
when you are ready to dry your clothes, squeeze out the excess softener and
toss the sponge in with your wet clothes. When dry, just place the sponge
back in the mixture until the next load or laundry day...
