Sonic Adventure 4: Scene 15: Mind Control: Part Three

Sonic: Hurry! Let's go! Emerald! Find him!
He raises his Emerald up; it blinks. Then fly off towards where Leo ran.
Jacob: Let’s hurry!
They follow the Emerald.
Jacob: So, how did you know to use your Emerald?
Sonic: It's something Leo taught me. This is the first time I have ever used it though.
Jacob: I see.
Sonic: So, Tikal, and Chaos went back to the camp?
Jacob: Yes. They went back to keep an eye on Angel and Rush.
Amy: Stop talking and let’s go!
Sonic: Amy?! How can you keep up with us?!
He looks down at her shoes.
Sonic: Oh, I forgot.
Amy: Tails did a nice job on these shoes!
Sonic: He must have. You've never been able to keep up with me!
Amy: I know! I love these shoes!
Jacob stops. Sonic and Amy run back to him.
Sonic: Something wrong?
Jacob: I feel like someone is near. Power that I have felt before... I can't tell right now, so let’s keep going!
They continue.
Amy: You had to stop? Where did the Emerald go?
Sonic: I know where it is!
Jacob: Take us to it!
Ten minutes later...
Sonic: He's near...
Jacob: Where?!
Leo: Above you!
He jumps on Sonic.
Leo: Hey Sonic!
Sonic: Leo!
He kicks him off.
Leo: Sorry, I can't fight right now! I'd rather heal before our next fight!
Sonic: What?!
Leo runs off.
Sonic: Not so fast!
He takes off after him. A gust of wind goes by Jacob.
Jacob: Now that's speed.
Amy: Have you told them yet?
Jacob: If you mean about me being their father, no.
Amy: What if you just missed your chance?
Jacob: Hm? Explain.
Amy: Leo is very strong... that could have been the last time you see Sonic!
Jacob: Sonic is strong too. He will survive.
Amy: I know that. I'm just saying what if.
Leo: Leave me alone!
Sonic: Never!
They run side by side.
Leo: Why do you bother me so much?!
Sonic: I told you! You're my brother! I have to help you! Back there, you were yourself when Amy talked to you! I know that whatever Eggman has done to you is getting weaker!
Leo stops. Sonic stops too.
Leo: So, I'm your brother?
Sonic: Yes... are you okay?
Leo: I think so. My memory has come back now.
Sonic: Great! It's so good to have you back Leo! Give me a hug!

They hug, but Leo has a smile on his face.
Leo: You naive fool! Chaos Surge!!!
The surge hits Sonic.
Sonic: Ahhhh!!!
He looks up; Leo is gone.
Sonic: Eggman will pay for this! You don't mess with Sonic the Hedgehog and get away with it!
He starts to glow gold, then his quills raise up.
Sonic: My Emerald will show me where Leo is! Chaos Control!!
When Sonic takes off, a shockwave is the only thing you see.
Jacob: Hmmm... Sonic.
Amy: Hmm Sonic what?
Jacob: His power is growing. I sense it! He is doing very... Aghh!!!
He grabs his chest.
Amy: Jacob?! Jacob!!!
Jacob: It's... just the virus! That's all! It's getting worse every time!
Amy: We should rest!
Jacob: No! We must continue!
Amy: If you say so...
Jacob: Wait! I feel that power again! Where is it coming from?!
He looks around, and then looks up in the trees.
Jacob: There!
He jumps up in the tree.
???: Hm, not bad.
The figure jumps out of the tree, then disappears.
Amy: What was that?
Jacob: I think I know, but I'm not sure just yet. Let’s go.
They start to run again.
Sonic: He's close again! I can feel him!
He sees Leo ahead.
Sonic: This time I'll follow him! That way I can find Eggman's base, cure Leo of whatever! Then destroy his base!
He follows Leo to the Mystic Ruins jungle.
Sonic: I know this place! Eggman has another base here?! He must have run out of ideas!
He sees Leo enter the transporter.
Sonic: Same old base.
Inside...
Eggman: What happened out there?!
Wraith: Leo went crazy!
Eggman: You mean he broke free from the mind control?!
Wraith: No! I didn't want to do what he wanted so he burned my face!
Eggman: Oh... is that all?
Wraith: What do you mean?!
Eggman: That is how I taught him!
Leo: And that's how I'm going to stay!
Eggman: Ah Leo!
Leo: I see your face is a little burned! You may want that looked at!
Wraith: Why you...!
Eggman: Stop it! Both of you! Wraith, take Neo to the chambers. He can heal there.
Leo: I'm going too.
Eggman: You didn't beat Sonic?!
Leo: No, but I will!
He walks off.
Eggman: You better!
He walks back into his lab. Right after he leaves, Sonic enters the room.
Sonic: Got to make sure none of his bots or cameras spot me!
After about five minutes of looking around, he finds something.
Sonic: Whoa! It's him!
He looks up to see Mecha Sonic.
Sonic: So, he never uses you huh? You just stand there looking dumb?
He keeps going. After he leaves one room, a secret camera pops out of the wall. There is a beep in Eggman’s lab.
Eggman: Hm? What now?!
He turns the monitor on.
Eggman: Well well well! What a surprise!
He pushes a button under his desk.
Wraith: An intruder? Very well.
Neo: Right behind you!
They search for Sonic, while he searches for Leo.
Eggman: Well this is a nice show I'm about to see!
Sonic turns around a corner.
Wraith: Welcome Sonic! How nice of you to come!
Sonic: Wraith!

Neo: Don't forget me!
Sonic: Neo!
Eggman (on the speaker): Hello Sonic! I have Leo right now! He seems to have broken my mind control! So I chained him up! If you want to save him you must beat Wraith and Neo!
Sonic: Fine!
Wraith and Neo lead him to a huge room.
Sonic: Okay! Let’s go!
Wraith: We're not your enemy right now.
Sonic: Then who?
Neo: He is!
Leo jumps down.
Neo: Enjoy!
Wraith and Neo run behind Sonic, and then they shut the door.
Sonic: You told me he was free!
Leo: He just told you a lie to get you in here! You're so naive!
Sonic: Leo! Please don't make me do this! I don't like fighting you!
Leo: I have no such feeling... that's a shame! For you!
He grabs Sonic.
Leo: Chaos Surge!!!
Sonic grabs Leo's face then gets out of his hold.
Leo: ...
Sonic: I don't want to do this! But if I have to...
He turns gold, and then his quills rise up.
Sonic: I'm going to give it everything I have!!!
Leo turns gold; his quills rise up too.
Leo: That's what I like to hear! Come and get me!
They dash towards each other. Then they grab each others’ hands.
Leo: You seem stronger than before Sonic!
Sonic: Of course! I have to do everything I can to save you!
Leo: Why do you care so much for me?! You mean nothing to me!
Sonic: You're under the control of Eggman! He took you from me! From your wife!
Leo: That's wrong! You're wrong! Aghh!!!!
He pushes Sonic back, and then his hands glow.
Leo: Chaos Punch!!!
He punches at Sonic.
Sonic: Chaos Counter!!!
He grabs Leo's punch, and then does the same thing, only with doubled attack power. Leo is thrown across the room.
Leo: I don't understand! You can't beat me!
Eggman (on speaker): It seems he's stronger than you Leo! Shall I turn your power up?
Leo: Yes! Do whatever!
Eggman: Okay...
He turns the knob for Leo's power.
Leo: AGHHHH!!!!!
Sonic: Leo!

Leo: I... will... kill... you now!
Sonic: He's gone crazy!
Sonic runs up to him, but Leo gets behind him.
Leo: Chaos... Punch!!!
He hits Sonic right in the back.
Sonic: Ahhh!!!
He falls to the ground, and then returns to normal.
Leo: You... are... weak!
Sonic: No! Don't do this brother!
Leo: I... told... you! I'm... not... your... brother!!!! Chaos... Punch!!!
Before he hits Sonic, someone pushes Leo out of the way.
???: Are you okay?
Sonic: Yeah, I think so. Have I seen you before?
???: Don't worry about that now blue hedgehog! Go to the control room! Eggman has Leo's mind control device there!
Sonic: How do you know?
???: Sonic! Leave him to me!
Sonic: I know that voice! Shadow?!
Shadow: So, you figured it out. Hmph, go on! I'll take care of him!
Sonic: Okay! Thanks Shadow!
He runs towards the control room.
Leo: Who... are... you?!
Shadow: No talking, let’s just fight, faker!
They run towards each other.
Sonic: Here it is! Control room!
He runs in.
Eggman: Hello there! Come to save Leo?
Sonic: You bet!
Eggman: Go ahead! Try it!
Sonic: What do you mean?
Eggman: I made sure that I had full control of Leo! So I also put a brain freezer in Leo's control device! One of these buttons will free him, but one will kill him! You will never choose the right one!!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Computer: Mind control device removed.
Eggman: What?!?!
Leo stops; a chip falls out of his skin on his head.
Shadow: I see he did it...
Eggman: How did you know?!
Sonic: It's simple! I just followed my heart! And the fact the panel said, "Remove Control Device!"
Leo drops to the ground.
Sonic: I'll leave now thank you!
Wraith: Not if we can help it!
Neo: Yeah!
Sonic: Flash Firewall!!!
Eggman: Oh no! Wraith! Neo! Get me out of here!
Wraith & Neo: Yes sir! Chaos Control!!!
Sonic sees Shadow with Leo in his arms. Then he warps out.
Outside the base...
Sonic: Thank you, Shadow. I couldn't have done it without you!
Shadow: Yeah well, I have to keep my promise to Maria don't I?
Sonic: Do you want to help us?
Shadow: It might be fun, but then again I might not like being around two fakers!
Sonic: You've changed...
Shadow: Recovering from the fight with the lizard, I've learned a few things. I will help you.
Sonic: We could just get rid of Eggman, and the other two right now... but Leo needs to get back to Amy.
Shadow: Ah, another promise to keep.
They carry Leo back to the camp; along the way, they find Jacob.
Jacob: I knew it was you!
Shadow: I was shocked to find out who you are.
Sonic: Huh? What?
Jacob grabs Shadow, and then tells him something.
Shadow: I see. Very well.
They walk back towards the camp.
Eggman: He only took twenty-five percent of my base! With Shadow on their side, you two will have trouble!
Wraith: Come on, he can't be that strong!
Eggman: They know where we are. Let’s fix the base, then go to a new location!
