Sonic Adventure 4: Scene 2: The Informer

It has been a week since Leo and Amy's wedding. Again, nobody has seen Eggman or the two hedgehogs with him. All of this is starting to bug everyone.

It's a rainy night in the jungle. Leo and Amy are sitting in front of the fireplace.
Amy: What's wrong?
Leo: What do you mean?
Amy: You seem… more disturbed.
Leo: I am a little.
Amy: Hmm… about those two?
Leo: That and Eggman.
Amy: I wouldn't worry about it.
Leo: Why not?
Amy: You've beat him before, and you'll do it again!
He lies down.
Leo: I sure hope so… those two hedgehogs are very powerful enemies. They seem to be nothing like Metal Sonic or Metal Leo.
Amy: Don't worry Leo! You have always been able to defeat Eggman!
Leo: What about Wraith and Neo?
Amy: They do seem like strong enemies… but maybe history will repeat.
Leo: Huh?
Before Amy can say anything, someone knocks on the cabin’s door.
Leo: Stay here.
He gets up and walks towards the door.
Leo: Who is it?
???: Please, let me in!
Leo opens the door and the figure runs in. Leo shuts the door.
???: Thank you for your kindness!
Leo: Why were you out in the jungle? Not to mention the rain.
???: I was looking for someone.
Leo: I'm being rude! I'm Leo.
Jacob: My name is Jacob. It's nice to meet you.
Leo: Now, would you like to warm up some?
Jacob: That would be nice…
He leads Jacob to the fireplace.
Jacob: Oh, hello there!
Leo: Amy, this is Jacob. He's going to be staying the night with us.
Jacob: I am?
Leo: I'm not going to let you go back out in the rain! You could catch a cold!
Amy walks up to Jacob.
Amy: Hello, nice to meet you.
He grabs her hand and kisses it.
Jacob: Such a pretty young lady.
She starts to blush.
Amy: Oh… thank you.
Leo: Hey, hey, back off pal!
Jacob: I'm sorry.
He walks over to the fireplace and takes his raincoat off.
Leo: Hey, he's a hedgehog too!
Amy: Yeah, but he reminds me of someone…

Leo: Who?
Amy: Look at his face… his quills… I don't know who he reminds me of.
Jacob walks over to Leo and Amy.
Jacob: Sorry to bother you, but may I have something to eat?
Amy giggles.
Amy: Sure! Dinner coming up!
She runs into the kitchen.
Jacob: How do you get power out here?
Leo: Through the ground.
Jacob: How do you pay for it?
Leo: I have some friends in high places.
Jacob: I see… well, you've come a long way Leo.
Leo: Yeah, we enjoy it out here.
Leo sees that his Emerald is blinking.
Leo: That's odd…
Jacob: What?
Leo: My Emerald is blinking, as if there was a family member nearby.
Jacob: Oh?
They talk for a while, then Amy walks in with chili dogs.
Jacob: Chili dogs?
Leo: Yeah! Dig in!
They eat dinner, then talk for a while.
Leo: Say, what's your age? You look like you're a bit older than me…
Jacob: Well I’m forty-three.
Leo: Yeah, I would say you're older. I'm twenty. I must say, you look like you're in good shape.
Jacob: Leo, I have to be honest with you.
Leo: What do you mean?
Jacob: Remember I said I was looking for someone.
Leo: Yeah?
Jacob: That someone is you Leo.
Leo: Why me?
Jacob: It's about Eggman.
Amy: I'm going to put up everything.
Leo: What about Eggman?
Jacob: The two hedgehogs… Wraith and Neo. They're clones.
Leo: How do you know?
Jacob: You could say I'm a spy for you.
Leo: Go on.
Jacob: Eggman, he always uses either clones or robots.
Leo: That's a help how?
Jacob: Think about it… and be careful boy. I wouldn't want you to get hurt.
He gets his rain coat and walks out the door.
Leo: Hey wait!
He runs out the door, but nobody is there.
Leo: What? Where did he go? He's gone!
