Sonic Adventure 4: Scene 6: Tales of The Past

The next morning, Jacob has prepared a training ground.
Leo: This is cool!
Sonic: Yeah!
Jacob: Shall we start?
Leo: Sure!
Jacob: Basic training; let’s start off with attacks.
He steps out in front of them, and grips his sword.
Jacob: The first one to knock me down will pass the test.
Leo: Knock you down?
Sonic: Okay, I'll play!
Jacob: You can use your Emerald if you wish.
Sonic: Okay!
He steps in front of Jacob.
Jacob: When you're ready!
Sonic: Sonic Wind!
The blue tornado circles Jacob.
Sonic: …
Jacob: Is that all? I didn't even budge!
Leo: My turn!
Sonic walks back. Leo gets in front of Jacob.
Leo: Is any attack allowed?
Jacob: Yes.
Leo starts to glow gold, then his quills rise up.
Leo: Chaos Punch!!!
He grabs Leo's punch.
Leo: I didn't even move him!
Jacob: Power isn't the only key to winning a fight. You learned that when Wraith and Neo beat you.
Sonic: So, let’s train!
Leo: …
They train most of the day. Jacob sees that Sonic and Leo are very strong, as well as great fighters.
Jacob: That is enough for today.
Leo: Okay…
Jacob: Something wrong?
Leo: It's just… I expected more.
Jacob: This wasn't good enough for you?
Leo: Well…
Jacob: Hmph! Fine then! Tomorrow, you will fight Sonic!
Leo: What?!
Jacob: What's wrong? I'm giving you a better challenge! Rest up before you fight.
He walks in the cabin.
Sonic: This is a fine mess you got us in!
Leo: Me?! I just said it wasn't a challenge!
Sonic: I know, but he is trying to help us out Leo! We need to do our best to help too!
Leo: …You're right.
They walk in the cabin, and find Jacob standing next to the fireplace. Leo walks up to him.
Jacob: What is it?
Leo: I wanted to say I'm sorry for what I said.
Jacob: You must understand! This training will save you life one day!
Sonic walks to the back of the cabin, where Amy is.
Amy: Done training?
Sonic: For now.
Amy: Jacob came in looking mad about something.
Sonic: He's fine now. Looking at the Drayes I see.
Amy: Yep! I still love this thing! Every now and then I'll take it for a flight.
Sonic: You should see all the stuff Tails has in his workshop! Tons of robots!
Amy: He sure does like robots!
Jacob: Tell me Leo, how strong would you consider yourself?

Leo: I wouldn't know.
Jacob: I'll tell you why I ask. When you and Sonic attacked me, I felt power inside you two! Power I've never felt before!
Leo: Power?
Jacob: Listen to what I have to say. Remember me telling about the Chaos Weapons? The ones who owned them had the same power I feel inside of you two!
Leo: They did?
Jacob: The power is passed down generation, to generation! But only shows up every four! Between the four, is only half!
Leo: So, you're saying…
Jacob: That you and Sonic are related to one of those warriors!
Leo: Wow…
Jacob: I would be strong too, if I wasn't the thir…
Leo: Huh?
Jacob: Nothing!
He starts to walk outside, but Leo's Emerald starts to glow.
Leo: Huh? Why is it doing that?
Jacob: I-I wouldn't know!
Leo grabs the Emerald.
Leo: I know this glow! It's the same glow the first time I saw Sonic! But why is it glowing now? It's only supposed to glow when family is…
He looks at Jacob, and then pushes him against the wall.
Leo: What are you hiding?!
The noise brought Sonic, and Amy out.
Amy: Leo! Put him down!
Leo: No!
Sonic: Something wrong?
Leo: He's hiding something! I know it!
Jacob: I'm… not hiding anything!
Leo: Yes you are! My Emerald never glows like that unless family is near! Tell me who you are! NOW!
Jacob: I'm Jacob! That is who I am!
Leo drops him.
Leo: Fine, be that way!
He walks off.
Leo (thinking): He may think I've given up! The fact is I know who he is!
