Sonic Adventure 4: Scene
8: The Visitors
High above the ocean on
Knuckles: I've been guarding this for a long time now, ever since I can
remember.
He walks down the steps.
Knuckles: It's a long job, but I'm the only one who will do it…
It is night time, and it starts to rain.
Knuckles: Better get in.
He opens the door.
Knuckles: It sure was nice of Leo, and Sonic to build this small cabin for me.
It's close to the shrine, so if there is trouble I can rush out.
He opens the window.
Knuckles: Ahh....that sound is relaxing!
He sits down on a chair next to the
window, and continues watching the Master Emerald.
Eggmans jungle fortress…
Eggman: I'd like to see them find me now!
Wraith: All they have to do is come to the Mystic Ruins.
Eggman: Yes I know that! But you see, my old one was
destroyed, but with the help of Mecha-Sonic here, I
was able to finish quickly!
Neo: That may not stop them from coming back.
Eggman: …SHUT UP!!!
He storms off into the next room.
Neo: Heh, we made him mad!
Wraith: I'm so scared!
Neo: I wonder why he never used this robot against Sonic, and Leo.
Wraith: He said he was saving him. He came in handy in building this base
though!
Eggman quickly walks back.
Eggman: I have something for you two to do!
Neo: What is it?
Eggman: Above the ocean, there is an island called
Neo: What do you need it for?
Eggman: Nothing, I just don't want the animals to use
it against us!
Wraith: We're leaving now.
Eggman: One more thing! If you can't bring it back…
Destroy it!!!
Wraith & Neo: Yes sir!
Knuckles is wide awake when he senses someone nearby.
He walks outside only to be ambushed by Wraith and Neo.
Knuckles: You two!
Neo: Give us the Master Emerald! Then maybe we'll spare your life!
Wraith: Speak for yourself!
Knuckles: Agh!!
He throws them off.
Knuckles: If you think you're getting that Emerald!
He punches his fists together.
Knuckles: Then you're wrong!
Neo: Hmph!
Wraith and Neo start to run circles
around Knuckles.
Knuckles: Stop that!
He punches the ground. Wraith and Neo
fall to their faces.
Knuckles: Thunder Arrow!!!
The arrows strike Wraith and Neo.
Wraith: Hmm… you're good!
Wraith stands up, then
runs at Knuckles.
Knuckles: Agh!!
Wraith pulls back his arm. So does Knuckles. They punch each others fists. Knuckles
quickly pushes Wraith's arm up, then upper-cuts.
Neo: We can't take it!
Wraith: I'll defeat you!!!
Knuckles: Come on!
Neo: Chaos Wave!!!
The waves fly right past Knuckles.
Knuckles: You missed!
Neo: Think so?
He turns around only to see the fifteen
waves shatter the Master Emerald.
Knuckles: NO!!!
One of the pieces falls in front of Neo.
Neo: I think I'll take this! Goodbye! Chaos Control!
Wraith: Chaos Control!
Knuckles: No! Now I have to find the pieces again!
He runs off. After he leaves, the pieces
left over start to glow.
