Shore Point to Prince Rupert

It felt good to get back into the cockpit. I decided to take out the new Beaver for this flight, in the new TCS livery. I came from Petersburg, stopped in BFUn for gas, and then headed to Shore Point. Being my first visit there, it was challenging to land there. I ended up rounding the cove and approached at an almsot suicidal 1500 FPM. I pulled the nose back up at the last second, but one-hopped the landing. No one saw it though, so I pulled off the runway and taxied to the grocery store.

I met the three anglers as they were walking towards me. We got their stuff in the back, and the three of them got in, one of them in the right seat. I closed all the doors, released the parking brakes, gave her a little throttle, turned around, and taxied to the runway.

I stepped on the toe brakes, and slowly increased the throttle. Just before the thing got ready to flip itself, I released the brakes, rolled about 50 feet, and got off the ground.

I climbed straight out, and headed towards the Portland Inlet. I would head down that until I hit the group of islands to the north of Prince Rupert.

I crossed the border, went over Pearse Island, and turned out into Portland Inlet.

I went down the inlet, and at the end, I turned left and followed the ADF. I continued this way until I saw Prince Rupert 3 miles away. Here I am, just before turning on final.

Here I am after turning on final.

I announced that I was on final, and began my final descent. Here I am crossing the threshold.

Touchdown.

I cut the throttle and stepped on the brakes as the plane slowed down. When it was almost stopped, I gave it a little throttle and turned around. I rolled to the taxiway, and turned off. I let everyone know I was clear, and taxied to parking.

I shut her down, and helped the passengers get their stuff out. They said thanks, paid, and left. I went into the building to look for sustinence for the flight back to...wherever I decide to go.
