How long the implant is going to last?

This will partially depend on you. You should follow your dentist’s instructions and exercise regular thorough oral hygiene. Good hygienic condition of the oral cavity prevents the inflammation of the gums. This is very important! The implant could be rejected in an inflammatory environment.

Your dentist, like you, is interested in the long-term life of your prosthetics. He/she will invite you for regular check-ups. Follow his/her instructions!

It is true that approximately 2 % of implants never heal. However, if you take proper care of the implants and keep the periodic check-ups with your dentist, you can assume that the implants will serve you your whole life. If you are interested in global numbers, it is reported that 85 to 99% of all implants inserted work without problems.

Physicians working with the IMPLADENT® implants have monitored their patients on a long-term basis. A total of 97% of implants were successful after five years. This result ranks the IMPLADENT® system as one of the world leaders in effectiveness.
