Aquarius the Waterbearer. As you learn more about astrology you will quickly discover that Aquarius and its planet Uranus are unexpected and unpredictable. Therefore it shouldn't come as a surprise to learn that despite the apparent link with water, this is an Air sign. Its Qualities are Fixed and it rules the 11th house.

As with all Air signs its forte's are socialising, communication and intelligence. The Fixed qualities add determination, stubbornness and reliability. Aquarius is very socially aware, its link with the 11th house is indicative of how individuality works within a group situation. This impersonal link with society as a whole comes out in the humanitarian instincts. The Aquarian is friendly but stubborn, it will always require some independence.

This is the sign that combines intelligence with determination, this can produce a very original personality. The Aquarian is inventive, the eccentric genius, or mad professor. Being a Fixed sign it will be faithful to one person, but will also require a large circle of acquaintances. Its reforming spirit can bring about changes in society that are beneficial to all. However, it can simply be attracted to 'isms' (communism, vegetarianism, socialism, vampirism etc.) making it appear to be more of a 'crank', rebelling just for the sake of it.

b) His manner of dress is likely to be unconventional. Certainly not the sort of thing the masses wear. Though this doesn't mean that it wont be high fashion, in his completely unique style.
