To play like a baby

Treat others, as you would have them treat you.
Don?t those words ring true? Wow, What a golden rule.
Well if everyone lived by that rule our lives, our world,
our schools, and our workplace would be better.
Treat others, as you would have them treat you, well said.
I think, if everyone learned early, early like in Pre School.
Has anyone ever noticed how Babies and toddlers get along?
They get along with out worry of looks, money, fear or social status.
They play together in peace, in peace, like the golden rule.
Tech them well we say. Have you ever stopped to think their way?
Babies, toddlers, innocent and true.
They do not think like you and I do.Houses, Cars, Clothes and money?
Make people fight and make others envy.
But I say hey, look at the babies, they know unconditional love without greed or judgment.
Innocent play.
What a world it would be, if people would stop fighting and by the way,
who said No, No, you cannot play with them today anyway?

This old computer of mine
Computer, Sometimes while waiting for you to download,
upload, receive, send out or spit out information you have made me late.
I have always relied on you to write on,
listen to music with and I have even watched Dvd's and the news on you.
You have taken me from knowing virtually
nothing to opening a door of unenless knowledge, what a great thing.
I love the information superhighway.
I just wish I could use it everyday.
I used to before you stopped working.
Now I have to coax you,
Windoc you, triple firewall you,
install ad blocking devices on you and even bless you.
I fight you, fix you, upgrade you and reconfigure you.
I even still make payments on you.
Though, they say you are out of date.
That?s odd they said that before you got here shipped in a crate.
So up until lately I couldn?t relate.
But not, I am tired of you crashing,
you have my head smashing.
You have done it so many times and
that signature loan I signed has sucked away to many of my dimes.
I realize you are just a machine full of plastic metal and
electrical conduit, but I have been through it.
I think it is time to lug your heavy piece of wiring
down to a computer store and trade you for a new for one of those
shiny little new laptops that I can carry around
with me and plug in anywhere there is a phone line.
So I must say goodbye to you computer of mine.
And look forward to not tripping
over a desk in the middle of my living room.

Alaskan Water

Glacier Water, you are frozen now, under the ice asleep.
The sunshine and warmth will awaken you as you mirror our Alaskan view.
The untamed wild that lives among us, with rainbows and the Northern lights.
These colors glisten.
You can hear them if you only listen.
That is color you could never beat on your city street.
That true Alaskan majesty, those things you can live and feel not just see.
Down from the mountains, the snow melts.
It roars like thunder and falls like grace.
Here in Alaska it?s everyplace.
Alaskan water has won awards right out of the tap.
We bottle and sell it all over the map.
To those who don?t get to see these pristine scenes.
So they buy our artwork to, just to get a glimpse of our unique Alaskan view.
Our water, mountains, trees and streams.
Our state shimmers even on a cloudy day Alaska is where I want to stay.

My Baby Bunning

My Tiny Inupiaq Sourdough Eskimo
You are the sunshine in my hair, the warmth in my eyes
When my tears dance like rain with the storm clouds at night
You are worth every brutal battle, every bloody courtroom blow
You are stronger than you know
you are the spitting image of your father
You are genetic perfection,
You hold all the warmest sun on a cool day and the brightest stars on a dark night
You are my Northern Light
You were worth every birthing class, every labor pain
As Your life changes with every season and you grow wiser, stronger and more beautiful
I will always walk with you,
even when you are alone
I will be there to rock you and sing you to sleep at night
I will wipe away your every tear and sorrow
I will be there to see you laugh and dance and sing with all your might
I will be there while you dream that you are dancing with the stars at night
I am and will always be with you even if it is just in your heart
You are my baby Bunning
my Tiny, Inupiaq, Eskimo
you are my Alaskan Sourdough
There is true sunshine in every step I take while our tears dance in the pouring rain
Because in order to love we must all feel pain
When we part, I will be there to heal your heart
For I divorced your father, though I never ever divorced you and I never will
My tiny baby Bunning
my Inupiaq Eskimo
a truly blessed bright and warm sourdough
Love, Your Mommy
For all Anna, Aaka, Auntie, sister, Friend
