His mother Daisy was born in Kivilana, Alaska and his father born in (Tigerah) Pt. Hope, Alaska
Tigera is Pt. Hope
My mother told me that my Aapa (grandfather) Richard would take his dog sled from Barrow and carry the postal mail to the smaller villages.
She also told me that he was a great Eskimo dancer and was in the Pt. Hope Dancers group until his death.
He hunted and lived all his life in Barrow. Met my Aaka (Grandmother) Anne Kullaluk Aimak. She told me that Aapa traveled to Barrow from Pt. Hope and seen Kullaluk for the first time he said to his friend, "she is the most beautiful girl I've seen!". But they were too young to marry.
Few years went by Richard married Helen Kenauq of Pt. Hope and Kullaluk married Ira Ungudruk of Wainwright.
I am not sure how she end up in Wainwright but she had children there and her husband past on.
Richard's wife Helen also past on and found out that Kullaluk is living in Wainwright and also lost her husband.
Richard married Kullaluk and had 9 children but only 2 survived.
