 Comments: "Poetry has had a profound impact on my life. It has allowed me to creatively express my emotions. Poetry has lifted my spirits, soothed my soul, touched my senses and broadened my vocabulary. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I move or delight a reader. Society tells us Poetry is dead, I want to be instrumental in building it again, and watch the unkillable pheonix rise from the ashes. Orania has received special awards for several literary websites and e-zines. Published on three separate occasions in both "Rant," and "Poetic Voices," both e-zines on the web. She was also the featured poet of the month in Themestream and This Hard Wind, poem of the month in Chaparral Poets, and poem of the week in
Poetic Universe. Orania was also a featured poet in the Poetica March Muse, The Pocono Poets Tour in Pa, and she has recently published a chapbook titled, "Cries of the soul," and is a member, and Featured Poet of
The California Federation of Chapparal Poets. Orania will be coordinating next years "March Muse," which will take place in Orania's town of Apple Valley, Ca. March Muse, thrown by the literary chatroom and website, Poetica X, will be a large group of members who bring the art of Poetry to the public once a year. Celebrated with live readings, and many enchanting events, with the intent of installing the love of poetry in all souls. March Muse 2002, will begin the first week of March, 2002.
