Grid Iron
Function: Oberon Base Commander Sub-Group: None First Appearance: TF:BOP #7 In war, survival is what counts Profile:  A chiseled veteran of the Autobot/Decepticon war, Grid Iron is a brilliant tactician who's unorthodox strategy helped him save untold Autobot lives and score many victories in battle against their enemy. Believes in life, first and foremost, and is not above retreating when the odds are against him in battle. He's not an advocate of war but it's a job he does extremely well. Was a key player under Emirate Xaaron in keeping the Autobots alive and fighting over the millennia when Prime was deactivated on Earth. Extremely vigilant and hard working, Grid Iron was promoted to Commander and assigned to oversee the construction of Oberon base.
Abilities:  Was briefly with Earth contingent before taking on Oberon assignment and thus transforms into an Earth style Jeep. Top speed of 650 MPH. In robot mode has photon rifle and particle pulse pistol. Has trillium-dytride blend armor, making him extremely durable and allowing him to take impacts from falls or energy weapons that would kill other Transformers. He has no specific powers as he believes his mind, combined with a little courage and a gun, more then make up for others fancy gimmicks.
