Well welcome to the wonderful world of
"FISHING WITH F. DAN HUNT"
Well I guess you can say this years (2002) fishing season has come to an end. I haven't been fishing in 3 weeks. After the nine inches of snow the other day my focus has been on filling the freezer the rest of the way with deer burger and chops.
This was a great year for fishing. With my schedule at work changed having 3 days off in a row every week I was able to spend a lot of time at the lake.
Vic bought a new boat this spring and with him not able to drive due to (if you know what I mean)I spent a lot of time dragging his boat back and forth to the waters edge.We fished like there wasn't going to be a next year. In the month of August alone we caught over 400 channel cat. I remembered and old timers secrete he taught me and it worked very well. Like I said it was a secrete.

This is Big Mike on the left, my youngest daughter center, an me on the right.
We caught several large mouth bass and white bass at winfield lake early in the spring.
This is Vic with a stringer we caught in August.
This is Matt and his dad with a few nice flathead they caught at the Wellington Lake this spring.

with a nice bass That he didn't catch. We think he beat up a 9 year old little girl scout and took it away from her so he could have his picture taken with it.
