HOLY MOTIVATION, BATMAN! ACTUAL SIGNIFICANT UPDATE!_

Hi! Welcome to Aikigimps! The title came from my level of skill and knowledge in the art. In a martial practice that may take two lifetimes to master, I'm only a student of eighteen months! Believe, me, it's well worth the time, blood and pride sacrifice to be a part of the Aikido community. This site will soon contain many useful Aikido links, my own personal progress as an aikidoka, and any other miscellaneous tidbits, like those in the sections below, that I deem appropriate for this page. I'm planning on keeping this page simple, because if you're paying for Aikido classes, there's no way you can afford a computer that'll handle a Java-compliant browser!

UPDATED!

NEW (Amazingly enough)! October 12^th update! AWESOME new link on the Aikido Links section to a page with groundfighting videos. As well, there are a few new additions to the Misc. Links section and there will be a new martial-arts movie review and resource section comming (see 'Attention' a little farther down the screen). This, for those of you that weren't paying attention (tisk, tisk), is the first update for Aikigimp's since July 20. I know that's a pretty long time, but, now that summer is thoroughly dead and my butt's gonna be planted in doors through the dreary winter months, the 'ol web mastah will be putting in a lot more time. I'm making no garuntees as far as quality goes, but the quantitiy is going to increase. As happens every week, a new qoute is posted! SEE THE *ATTENTION* SECTION THIS MONTH!!! Remember - I want YOUR opinions and wisdom! Please send them to me!

ATTENTION!

A new section will soon be up - no thanks to any input on the part of anyone visiting my site. If you've ever been here before (well, if you've ever been here before, I'd like the lather you with thanks, first of all), you'll know that on this very page I begged for people's - anyone's opinion on whether or not I should add a page of reviews and links to information about martial arts films. No one replied. That's ok. I know you guys are really busy. I guess. Anyway, it'll be up in less than a week with at least ten movies with summaries and a minimum of five links regarding the movie. Also, there will be a featured review at least every two weeks, and every week, if I can manage it. I'd LIKE IT A LOT if people would write reviews and send them in, or at least tell me if they'd like a particular movie added to the section. This page is meant to be more than a simple 'this is my style, here are pictures of my style, here's other stuff I like' pages. I want another dimension. I want the visitor's mark to be left. This is what the web is about, my friends - information, opinions, and wants traded, expressed, and addressed. The thing is, it takes YOU to make it happen.
