This Zord was the upgraded version of the Pterodactyl Dino Zord. The Firebird was the backbone of the Thunder Zords' air support. This zord could generate whirlwinds by flying in a circular pattern. It could link up with the other Thunder Zords to form the Thunder MegaZord's waist providing more power than functionality to the MegaZord. The Firebird was destroyed along with the other ThunderZords by Rito Revolto.
