This is the upgraded Mastodon Dinozord. It is the zord of the Black Ranger,and it was made by Zordon. The Lion Thunderzord came heavily armored to protect itself from Lord Zedd's forces. The zord was not able of independent combat, it's purpose was to be armor for the Thunder MegaZord. In MegaZord sequence the Lion formed the chest and arm coverings for the Red DragonZord. The Lion Thunder Zord was destroyed by Rito Revolto.
